Greatest Malaysian cuisine love to go there every time we get the best food we will miss it here in Texas

My favorite spot for Malaysian food in Queens. Restaurant is quite small, so I don't recommend more than 4 people in your group (2-4 is the sweet spot). We came on a weekend and they were absolutely swarmed. We were finally seated after 20 minutes of standing around. Food is consistent no matter what you get. -1 star for the sub par dining experience. We were constantly pushed around while waiting for a seat, and once we sat it felt rushed.

I've been here a few times, but I've come to understand that I've been ordering the wrong items. I went with a friend that goes pretty often, and I came out a much happier person. The Hainanese chicken was deliciously tender, and the stuffed bean curd in curry broth were also delicious. I wish the chicken fat rice had more flavor, but at least they gave you a full bowl... unlike many other places.

Craving laksa, we trekked out to Elmhurst to satisfy it. Notoriously difficult to find, we were happy to have found a highly recommended asam laksa spot. It's hard to find fault when prices are so affordable for NYC, think a full meal for under 20. While these satisfied the cravings, they weren't magnificent. Having had asam from its homeland, it's hard to compare, but it does the job. The asam was a bit too fishy and salty, needed more pineapple, but overall ok and the sg laksa was too milky for me, but that might be a preference. Teh Tarik is good, but has a slightly salty taste like a salted caramel, which is fine, but I prefer my teh the og way. If you're in the area, give it a try! Cash only!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The menu can be super overwhelming, so just look around at the pictures on the wall to decide what you want. Supper unassuming spot but definitely one to check out. Started with the roti, a must at this cuisine. It was what we expected, standard fare. Next was the sizzling tofu. This is a dish I was unfamiliar with and thoroughly enjoyed. The flavoring was great and the texture of the tofu was stellar. Highly recommend. We tried the hokkien char mee, a noodle dish with dark soy sauce. Not overly heavy with a nice noodle. Good balance for the other dish. We also got lamb rendang, which was also great. This we took home, in the end, as the previous 2 filled us up. However, always appreciate a good rendang.

It's been 10 years since I've visited this restaurant and boy, did it bring back memories... The last time I was here, I wrote that the curry noodles lost its luster and felt very diluted. Now, after having it again, it tasted like it was back to its original form. So good. Just thinking about it is making me drool. The curry noodles with tofu (what's listed on the menu) doesn't detail the rest of the toppings you're going to get such as eggplant with fish paste, tofu stuffed with fish paste, green pepper and another tofu. It's a great variety and very filling. The curry alone makes the trip worth it. The other things we ate were the roti and the beef skewers. The beef could have been more tender but the chunky peanut sauce is on point!

**CASH ONLY** After seeing multiple positive reviews on social media I was excited to visit Taste Good! Setting: A busy and smaller sized restaurant with indoor seating and a takeout counter for pickups. Service: A very kind lady took our order and was accommodating to my partner's dietary restrictions (which is hard to get in Malaysian chiding). Food: The satay was a highlight alongside the mee hoon (noodles). As a Malaysian, this laksa was too milky and didn't have enough flavor and toppings but it would be perfect for those who don't want something too strong. Overall, it was a great visit and I will definitely be returning!
